BMW E36 Front Subframe Chassis Reinforcement Kit

The BMW E36 Front Subframe Reinforcement Kit is a weld-in steel reinforcement set designed to strengthen the original front subframe of the BMW E36 3 Series.

Manufactured from 3 mm steel, this kit reinforces high-stress areas of the front subframe that may develop cracks, metal fatigue or structural damage due to age, repeated suspension loads and demanding driving conditions.

During drifting, track driving and motorsport use, the front subframe is subjected to significant suspension and drivetrain forces. Additional reinforcement helps strengthen vulnerable sections of the subframe, reducing the risk of localised cracking and deformation.

The reinforcement plates are suitable for preventative strengthening or as part of a professional repair of an existing cracked or weakened front subframe.

Each component is precision laser-cut and CNC-bent for consistent manufacturing accuracy and fitment.

All reinforcement components require welding and must be installed before the front subframe is refitted to the vehicle.

Installation Information:

Welding is required. This is not a bolt-on reinforcement kit.

All reinforcement plates must be positioned and welded to the front subframe before the assembly is installed or reinstalled on the vehicle.

The front subframe must be removed to allow proper access, inspection, preparation and welding.

Before installation, inspect the subframe for cracks, corrosion, deformation and previous repairs.

Any existing cracks or structural damage must be correctly repaired before reinforcement plates are welded into position. Welding reinforcement plates over unrepaired cracks is not an adequate structural repair.

Professional installation by an experienced automotive fabricator or qualified welder is strongly recommended.

Important: This kit reinforces the removable front subframe itself. It is not a front strut tower reinforcement kit or a chassis-mounted subframe reinforcement kit.
