Hydraulic System Requirements:

This hydraulic handbrake is designed to operate an additional set of rear brake calipers through a separate hydraulic circuit.

To complete the installation, the vehicle requires:

- An additional set of compatible rear brake calipers.

- Suitable dual caliper mounting brackets or adapters.

- Compatible hydraulic brake lines and fittings.

- A suitable brake fluid reservoir and supply connection for the master cylinder.

The hydraulic circuit must be correctly connected and bled before use.

The additional rear calipers allow the hydraulic handbrake to operate independently of the original service brake hydraulic circuit when installed correctly.

Installation Information:

The fly-off handbrake assembly is designed to attach to the original BMW E30 parking brake mounting points in the transmission tunnel.

The factory handbrake cover can be positioned over the installed assembly, subject to interior configuration and clearance.

An additional handle extension tube can be fitted if required, but is not supplied with the kit.
